Dercum's Disease Support Group

I am new to the group. I have had so many tests to find I have inflamation and lumps. The lumps are painful and my leg is swollen. I searched painful lumps and swelling and found Dercums disease. Any one have a good Dr in chicago area? This is starting to interer with my daily living.

Welcome Susala..sorry about the delay...no power for several days and it is over 100 degrees here in central Ohio. I want to help you find a doctor. I know we have some as FDRS holds their conference in Chicago. Hey Chicago people speak up! I'm so sorry that you may have this nasty disease. We are very proactive here and want to help each other. Just jump right in and ask any questions that you have. Our past posts are great if you read them you will find out a lot about DD. More soon...I gotta get some sleep as I did not have my oxygen so I could not sleep. Our power is back now..thank heaven! Hope all the Peeps are cool..stay inside if you can. Our air quality is so bad right now..I guess the fires are under control in the west. One of our Peeps in Colorado had to be evacuated. Good night! Hugs, Grandma Sylvia
