MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

Hi Christine,

Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

I bought a smoked turkey and pecan pie yesterday, cooked the dressing last night, fixed the cheese souffle and it is in the refrigerator ready to cook, bought Sister Shubert's yeast rolls, and I already made the sweet tea and will crack open a can of green beans!

It is only going to be me and my hubby. My mother in law was supposed to eat with us, but John's grandmother is in the hospital, so my MIL is there with her. We are taking food to both of them at the hospital this afternoon.

We get my stepson this afternoon/early evening. We are all leaving tomorrow for SC to my mom's house for Friday Thanksgiving dinner with my mom, dad, grandmother, aunt, uncle, cousin, and her son. We will come back home on Sunday.

So...I have a lot of washing laundry and packing to do today also! I hate that my MIL isn't eating with us, but we don't have to drag out the good china just for us...haha!

Hugs,

Jennifer

Do you want to meet up while you are up here? I don't want to impose on your holiday.

Sounds like my holiday. I have everything from Schwan's in the freezer, I just have to pop it in the oven and I'm done. Have a great holiday!

I am not sure if we will have time this trip. We are having Thanksgiving with my mother's family tomorrow, then we have to watch football all day on Saturday (SC vs. Clemson, Ga. vs. Ga. Tech, and Auburn vs. Alabama!!!!) We are biggggggg football fans (parents and I are SC fans, hubby is Georgia fan, and I am Auburn fan). Then we are going to the movies on Saturday night and then going home on Sunday. I will have more time when I come back in December if that is ok with you!!!

Hugs!
