MDJunction to me

jayna01"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

I hope MDJ will be as good for you as it has been for me! Many Blessings and Much love.

I just found this - I don't know if it's already somewhere on this website, but it's got alot of info. on DD stats and answers some of the questions we have about if it's related to other autoimmune diseases (according to this study, anyway.) It's very long, but I skimmed it and thought you all might like to take a look. Some of the pictures at the top are of upsettingly large lipomas - but go past that and scroll down for what you want.

It is a bunch of info. I'll look through it. I have been compiling everything into one place myself and I put the websites I get the info from because I never can remember anything, kind of like Varna and her link Smile

By the way, it looks like Dr. Herbst (or someone for her) is updating her site). I hope she fixes it so everyone can look at everything on there.

Thanks, Varna! The article is one that is on Dr. Herbst's site. She did a survey of 100 some patients with DD and published results. It is VERY interesting.

Varna..don't be scared by the pictures..most people have few lipomas as bad as the ones in the pictures. They always put pictures of the worst case example in medical pictures. For a paper cut..they show an arm almost cut off. : ) Hugs, Grandma Sylvia
