MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

So my husband lovingly volunteered to make a website or even help Dr. Herbst with hers. I did mention it to Dr. Herbst...not sure if you noticed but if you use IE, you cannot see her recommendations and on firefox you can. Not sure if she knows that or not. Anyway... I was thinking would it be beneficial to have a chat room? I am not sure if you all have ever used ICQ.... but we could log in and chat instead of just posting and posting? I was also thinking that a Dercum's site with recipes would be awesome. It is so hard to figure out what to cook when you have not been trained to cook that way. What ya'll think? It would be nice to have a webring to see have all the websites linked so that we don't have to search and search and search. Let me know your thoughts.

another thing that would be cool is if we find a good brand of something we can suggest and add a link?

Shellbee...we might try to get a place for recipies ... your hubbie can contact Dr H and ask her..I think she has some people who help her with her site but it is not that user friendly. Hug hubbie for us. Grandma Sylvia

Shellbee,

I think that your youtube link is Sigrid who used to write on our forum.

What do the rest of you all think? Is this our Sigrid in Auzzie?

Celeste.

Hey, I'd love to see your recipes for DD friendly foods, but a chat room would be no good for me, I'm in a totally different time zone - so I would miss out.

Great for you to chat, but I'd like to see stuff posted where I can read it too!
