I'm an Advocate

I have a daughter who has depression. I happen to have a diagnosis of bipolar. We try to treat my daughter as regular as possible. I know I appreciate it when individuals do not give me special treatment because of my diagnosis. We do keep in mind that there is an illness present that is not entirely in her control and make some allowances for that. I think that individuals want to be treated with respect, love, and compassion, regardless of what their state in life is.
Not a psychiatrist (pdoc) nor a therapist...what you read are my thoughts and there you go.

My mind is like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Diagnosis: Human
