just thought i would introduce myself. i just joined today and still trying to get the hang of everything so please bear with me.

i'm 43 and a long time sufferer (since i was a child) of clinical depression, among several other disorders which make the depression worse. i am currently not on meds or going to therapy. i have no insurance or money to obtain either. i suffer from severe anxiety/panic disorders which prevent me from being able to go anywhere alone so even goin to free clinics (which are usually tapped dry in this area due to high homeless population) or getting assistance through the state is virtually impossible. i have even applied in the past for disability but was turned down because "you are too capable of logical thinking to be as sick as you say". because i know my panics, anxiety are not "normal" they say no help for me well, i guess that is enough from me for now good luck and hugs all

As bad as my past was, without it I wouldn't be the good person i am today

Welcome to the group, lostgurl. That infuriates me that disability turned you down! Did you appeal the decision? Do you have a regular doctor? Because there are places online you can go for free meds.

www.needymeds.com is one of them

PM me so we can talk.
