Hopeless

I not only have depression, but bipolar disorder.

Can anyone tell me if you are dealing with my problems?

I was abused physically and emotionally since five years old by my mom and step-father. In 1975, my five year old sister, drowned in our family pool and I, at twelve, was blamed for her tragic death.

In 1997, I had an emotional break down and went in-patient for one month.

Since 1997, I haven't worked, and have tried different medications and to date still haven't found the right one. Presently, I am feeling suicidal and like my life is over.

Does anyone want to be my friend? Have advice?

I am so sorry you were abused like that. And for them to blame you for your sisters drowning was so wrong.

I'm so sorry for all of the tragic and tramatic things you went through. I can't imagine how you felt or feel now. I was also abused. It started when I was 3 and continued into my adulthood. I was abused in every way possible. So I kind of know how you feel about that part of your life.

Losing your sister was not your fault. The people that said it was ARE WRONG!!!! You were only 12 years old!

Are you getting any counseling now? I worry about your feelings to hurt yourself. No matter what, you do not want to do that! If the feelings get to be strong and you truely think you're going to hurt yourself, please call 911 or get to the hospital. Your an important person and have a purpose on Earth.
