hey y'all...I'm also 'new' and strange as it is, very shy, but also very depressed.

my best friends, Zach and Page, and older brother and boyfriend all commited suicide this year which is part of the reason I'm depressed....the other is pretty much my daddy's fault but I won't go there.

Hello,

I second Jays welcome. This is a good place to come. Sometimes we're not on...like today I'm kinda having a bad day and won't always say to much. However, I still surf and want to say hi!

Jay, so glad your hanging in there ! Hope to talk (type) again.

It sounds like you've got good reason to be depressed. Are you seeing anyone to be treated for your depression? If not, I would suggest you do that ASAP. That's a lot to deal with. My best friends have passed away but not by their own doings. They both had cancer. (different kinds). My parents are also gone. I have a wonderful husband who is there for me. I want to come out of my depression so I can be more helpful for him. Its very hard. Hang in there.

hey y'all...thanks for the welcome.

To answer the question about if I'm seeing anyone for help: no, not for this. I go once every two weeks for my OCD. My mom kind of doesn't know yet, only my grandparents 'cause I'm living with them.

Hey, Wings(can I call you that?)

Have you talked to your doc about your depression. I'm sure you can.
