MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." I am Bipolar but 75% of the time I am depressed. Last night I took to much Klonopin. Didn't overdose as I had hoped but really need some help. Any ideas for help other than medicine? I am already on a ton and feel like it isn't working and hasn't worked for a long time. I have tried a ton of meds. Any suggestions? BTW I do regret last night so don't worry I am not suicidal right now.

Hi Chaudoin

My name's Pam and I'm glad you found our group. Welcome.

After what happened last night, I'm really concerned for you. Please if you ever get that low again, please call 911 or call a local hotline.

As you said, the medication doesn't seem to be working so now might be a good time to go back to your Dr and see what s/he suggests.

I'm glad you found our site, everyone here is caring and helplful. Take a look around and read some posts and jump in whenever you're ready.
