MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough day. It is ok to cry, might be hard being outside the library but if you feel like that when you're at home, you might want to just let the tears fall. It can help sometimes. Are you attending school? If you are there might be a counselor you can talk to if you don't have friends you feel you can open up to about your feelings. In the meantime know that there are people here who are more than willing to listen.

You're not alone. It's okay to cry. (hugs) We're here to listen.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

I think that for so long i've been told not to be myself and who i am that it has hurt my feelings to where i wasnt content w/being who i am. and Now im learning to be a little bit more happy w/who i am.

I really understand how you feel about that, I ended up being diagnosed with social anxiety and have gotten medication and counseling. I've found that I feel more like myself now since I've gotten help.
