MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Hi I am agoraphobic for 2 years, have panic attacks and have always had a little depression , but being stuck in the house is making it worse, plus hubby has depression from being injured on the job and is applying for SSDI. I go out for small walks almost daily and try once in a while( besides therapist appts.) to go in the car to the pharmacy. I sit in the chair crying, feeling trapped. I am not on meds as I lost my medicaid when my husband won a small settlement from his accident, and Friday I go to a free clinic for a psych evaluation. I don't have any friends where I live, and have no family near me, and the only one that I have contact with is sick and I don't know how long she is going to live. I hate feeling like this, but don't know what to do. I don't have cable, do have netflix, but am not a big tv person, and I read really fast, so I do sit outside and read most days. I just want the depression to get better. Cheryl

Hi Chery

I hope your in our Agor Group also. I have a case of that myself, but I'm forcing myself to leave the house, I take mostly the back roads. The scenery is nice and makes it easier for me to go on to do my task. I really want to got to the beach tonight to watch the sunset..so lonely going alone, but I have done it before and will do it again.

Glad your going for a psych evaluation, it might help to see if you can get your meds you need...

Wishing you the best..

Patty
