Every day I seem to feel worse and worse about me. I have no one to talk to. My girlfriend lives 287 miles away. She suffers from depression, pancreatitis and a whole host of medical issues. I wasn't very nice to her on Valentines Day because I was frustrated. I want her to live here with me, but she won't move. i miss her terribly and today, I have sent her information to help her. She said she may get herself admitted to the hospital because her pancreatitis was killing her.

I'm sorry you are having a rough time right now. Long distance relationships are not easy. is there a reason your gf doesn't want to move? or a reason you don't want to move where she is?

The lights of our hearts have dimmed today,
for with God's calling you went away.
The newest angel to sit by his side,
has brought to his eyes a gleam of pride.
But what of us whom you've left behind?
Within earthly chains we remain confined.
Rage, confusion, and despair whirl in rapid haste
from the brutal reality we are forced to face.
Seemingly trapped within an infinite void,
full of painful tears impossible to avoid.
To turn back time is our unwavering dream,
when our heartache is at its most extreme.
Nothing in the world could ever take the place
of your laugh, your smile, or your warm embrace.
But we must find a way to continue on,
to make a new life without our beloved son.
Through the darkest of tunnels we trod ahead,
regretting petty angers and I love you's unsaid.
I pray for the day we may find some solace.
Perhaps when we meet in God's great palace.

She has pancreatitis and depression. She needs to be in Massachusetts for her medical care. But, she doesn't have a pcp to take care of her and keep her from being in agony. I can't move up there, because my job is here and I have a commitment to a chorus that I belong to and I need to be here to keep an eye on my elderly mother. By the way katie is 27 and I am 47...so I am dealing with conditions that are common to guys my age. She wants to marry me and have babies and so do I.

Hello Louielou,

It is nice to meet you and welcome to our group...It sounds like your having a rough time and so is she..I know it must be hard to have the long distant relationship..How did you meet her? Sooner or later there will have to be a decision or one will have to move on..It sounds like you have to stay where you are with the job and mom so maybe she could find a doctor there..If she wants to marry and have babies she is going to have to do something n jobs are hard to come by sometimes..Why does she have to only have Massachusetts for medical care..You can get medical care about anywhere can't you? It is nice to meet you let us know how we can help? If it is to just listen and you vent or what that is what we are here for. 03 PS07 1 Be True to Yourself Posters

She and I met via a support site for depression quite a while ago. I have been going to Massachusetts every other weekend for quite a while. When we are together, we are fine as long as she is feeling aalright. But quite frequently and recently she has been snappish about feeling like she is stuck in Massachusetts. She is afraid that because she would have to start over with a new pcp, her pancreatitis would get worse. I have reassured her that I won't leave her. She is not willing to change or listen and neither am I.

Help her by looking on line for her particular needs..Get doctors names and stats and present them to her and allow time for the new docs to get ready for her by getting the records together and faxed and getting her Health insurence in the works durning that time ..One small step at a time ..
