Hello everyone, I am considering taking Elavil (Amitriptyline) for my depression, anxiety and insomnia. None of the newer anti-Ds I have tried have worked out for me for various reasons. I'm particularly concerned that this may cause weight gain. Any thoughts on or experiences with Elavil for depression would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I had a girlfriend that took elavil for a long time. She did not gain weight. She lost it. It worked very well for her.
You are not drunk unless you have to hang on while lying on the floor.
