for each other for the good and bad times. MDJ has helped me come to terms with my disability and be able to live my life and be positive. I just hope that I can be there for others like my friends on MDJ have been here for me.

Hey sweetie! Welcome to MDJ! I'm sorry you are so down about your weight. It is hard to get exercise during the winter months. Even though it is nice and warm here in Arizona, I have a hard time leaving the house to work out. What I do is put on some music that I love, good music to dance to and I dance!! I love to dance. I may look silly if someone were to look in my window but dancing burns a ton of calories, not to mention it really helps to lift the depression!

I'm also in the eating disorders support group...if you haven't checked it out, you may want to go there for a visit! The girls there are great!

Welcome to the group!
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

welcome to the group

my mother had weighed 430 pounds

what i can tell you is any physical activity will help- walk the stairs if you have them, if you have long hallways walk back and fourth

take some cans from your food cupboard and use them as miniweights

there are all sorts of small activities like this you can do and you don't have to do them for long periods- you can do three sets of ten minute workouts

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
Maybe someday you'll look up,
And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"

You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago.
Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...?
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breathe deep and cry out:
"Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?"

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

And if I bleed, I'll bleed,
Knowing you don't care.
And if I sleep just to dream of you
And wake without you there,
Isn't something missing?
Isn't something...

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?
