MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

LOL Shawn - your post made me smile! I'm sure you will do just fine! I've no doubt you are a great father! just give them plenty of paint and crayons and paper and that will entertain them for a while! I'm presuming your kids are young enough to enjoy that? It will be nice for your wife to get a break from it all I'm sure.

What new meds are you on? I hope they work out for you. (((HUGS)))

No probs Shawn - I know how overwhelming young children can be when you are feeling low. Try to have fun with them - think of things you used to do as a child and play games with them. You'd be amazed how it will distract you from feeling bad. Hope you're ok. X

Kids take me away from my problems and force me to wear a smile. Hopefully that will wear off on you too.

How is your day going Shawn? i just had my sister in law on the phone supposedly comforting me about the miscarriage by saying "at least it wasn't really a baby yet so you wont be too upset!" OMG I am so mad - how anyone could be that insensitive I dont know! She lost a baby at 4mts so I suppose she is just going on her own experience. I still feel like there has been a death in the family - it annoys me that people can just dismiss the baby as if he wasn't a real person. He was very real for me - I was making plans for his arrival and so excited about it! Sorry to hijack your thread Shawn - I just need to rant to someone who understands!

Im doing very well with the kids thank you. We are having dinner right now PIZZA they love it and so do I. Thats a shame about your sister in law you would think she would understand more than most. I guess everyone is different maybe thats how she cipoes with her loss. she has to think of it in that way. Just remember what you think is the onlything that matters right now you are going threw something very hard and its going to take time just to get a little better. My prayes are with you.

Shawn

P.S the baby my wife and I lost was a boy also. His name Was Harrison after my father.Sad
