MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." Yes, This is crazy. When i stopped working nursing homes due to lumbar spine bulgeing disc, I went through PT for 1 year and 3 Epidural injections. I was feeling great with my back for a full 2 years now.

Oh , but I just had to believe my boss was telling me the truth, that she was giving me an Assist Client. That means they can bear weight. NO, I worked last night and you actually have to fully pick her up off her feet and transfer. I asked for a gait belt thinking that would help some, but no not really.

I know proper technique of liftingbut this was impossible.

So here I sit with pain, severe in my lower back for a disaster try of better employment LOL When will I ever learn?

Hurting bad and so down I want to scream!!!

Patty, we all take on more than we can handle at times. I hope that you get a grip on all that's on your plate and find a good job once things are settled w/ Rand.

Love you, Sylvia

NOTE: I can't imagine anyone is surprised that distracted driving has overtaken drunk driving as the number one cause of death on the road. Please, y'all, keep your eyes sharp when you drive. The guy in the next car could be on a computer in the dash board (whoever dreamed that up should have to watch autopsies), while the one behind you is texting. It's important to be aware of those around you. The kid who ended my second to last life was in a huge SUV and on the telephone.
