well i have disappeared for awhile because i had the most horrible experience ever..in past posts i stated about how i was trying to make a relationship work with my bipolar girlfriend.

well she decided to completely shut me out of her life and go with someone else..i suffer from depression now cause of this..it has taken such a toll on me that i'm now to be given meds for anti-anxiety and also for anti-depression. i have lost all focus, barely eating, smoking way too many cigarettes, and losing desires i once had.

i have always been depressed in some sort of way throughout my life but being with a bipolar mate has really driven me to an edge..i'm afraid she will haunt me again in the future..but yes i have realized from everyone here that i should have left while i had the chance..but i didn't. i'm kinda scared though about the meds..not sure what they are going to put me on.

any advice to go into knowing what i'm taking?

Hi blast welcome back, we were worried about ya, well there are alot of different meds out there, let us know which ones they give you.

I am actually on celexa for depression, in the beginning it made me very drowsy but after about a month i was ok.

Maybe the meds will make you feel better, that is the purpose. I know sometimes i get depressed and i think i need new meds but after a couple of days im ok again.

It is just a constant struggle, i hope the meds atart making you feel a little better and about your ex...even if she found someone else you will move on also...for the better.

good luck and dont forget to keep us posted....(((hugs)))
