Hi,

I was diagnosed in '09 with Factor V after discovering I had a blood clot in my leg.

Luckily, I work in the vascular field and when my leg began to hurt I scanned myself and found the clots.

However, that didn't stop me from getting bilateral PEs!

I spent a month out of work and have been on Coumadin for almost 2 years now (which I hate)

The hardest part for me was the change in diet.

Since restricting my diet I have been told I have a systemic fungal infection, now I'm trying to deal with that.Angry

But in the end I'm still here and that is wht really matters!Laughing
