In 2005 I was lying around watching tv for hours. My leg started to ache. I thought it was a cramp, so I massaged it. This was on a Sunday. On Wednesday it still hurt. At my visit to my arthritis dr on the same Wednesday, he suggested I go across the street to the emergency. I went and told them the same story I told my dr. I think they did a cat scan. They said that I needed to be admited to the hospital and I had a blood clot. I had never heard of dvt's before. I was there 4 days gett...

Hi, I'm new in here and wanted to see if there was anyone else whose child has had a DVT? My little boy is only 4 1/2 years old. He got the DVT after spending a week in the PICU heavily sedated (comatised for the first 3 days) and ventilated.

Would love to hear from others....

However, that didn't stop me from getting bilateral PEs!
I spent a month out of work and have been on Coumadin for almost 2 years now (which I hate)
The hardest part for me was the change in diet.
Since restricting my diet I have been told I have a systemic fungal infection, now I'm trying to deal...
