Dear my:

I just got news that my ex-husband took his life on July 8th and nobody bothered to tell me. I found out by my car insurance that he had passed.

I can't even imagine losing a son or daughter to suicide, but I can say this. Keep reaching out, talking about it, and know he is in a good place and no longer suffering. One of my Mom's best friends lost her son to suicide many years ago and what helped her the most was to talk to people, reach out, and doing her best to not dwell on the "what ifs". I have a tough road ahead of me myself as it's only been three days since I heard of my exes suicide. However, I know I did everything I could to help him. But there is nothing you can do if a person is not willing to seek treatment, etc or take your suggestions.

You are in my prayers.

Many hugs to you!!

Leslie
