1magicman"Before i found MDJ i was in the deepest darkest part of my life after my abduction. I wanted to feel safe. I wanted that sense of being a normal person.Finding MDJ and the people with in it has steered me down the correct path into the light of hope. The feeling of hope that i was not alone, the feeling of hope of understanding, and the feeling of hope to move on. I never give up hope." (1magicman)

I suffered from severe depression when I was first diagnosed and then I learned to live with it. Now I do OK I get a little depressed when I have a severe flare-up but I have learned just to live day by day. Hopefully you find some relief and can find foods that don't upset your stomach and disease.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!Smile

Finally realized last year I could use an antidepressant myself in dealing with crohns. Should have started years ago. Has helped tremendously with my feelings and how I deal with them. Hope you get to feeling your old self soon. Smile

Started with lexapro but due to copay I switched to generic celexa now at 20mg per day. Was on 10mg but upped it due to another copay issue..seems to keep me pretty evened out on a daily basis. Life in general can be a pain..maybe up again since hubby is now home all afternoon with me. lol
