Was diagnosed with Crohn's about six months ago. Really don't know a whole lot about the disease except how it makes me feel. Even now I feel Sad horrible so I'll have to take some pain meds just to get an hour or two of sleep. Thought it would be nice to find others who know what I'm going through on a daily basis. I won't be able to chat tonight but I'll be back tomorrow. Nice to meet everyone. God Bless!

welcome to the group cnvtruelove Smile. Don't worry, you'll learn a lot about crohns here with us Wink. Just make yourself at home and if you need to vent, you can do that as well as you see from previous posts we all have our days. I for one feel if we get thing off our chests, it helps release a little tension. You don't have to worry about being misunderstood here as well as we won't judge because we're going the same or similar issues.

Welcome! Welcome! Make yourself at home.. I am the unruly one of the bunch. I am tasteless and a bit crude at times and I use humor and sarcasm to cope with this shitty illness. If I can be of any assistance to you just holla. In addition to having Crohn's for quite a while, I have been a nurse for several years as well.

Hello, I'm also new to the group. I was diagnosed nearly 3 weeks ago. I had been having problems for years and it was a relief of sorts to finally find out what was wrong with me. In the back of my mind, I thought it was cancer. So I can relate. There are times when I need to reach out so bad and find someone there. I think this is the place ... So welcome.

Happy Birthday. I've been diagnosed with Crohn's for eight years and still have those times, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your spirits up and you'll get through it. Just an F.Y.I. you may want to discuss alternate methods (to pain pills) w/ your doc...they can often cause more damage later on, especially if the disease is active. Good luck and I hoepe things work out for you.

Welcome on - I tend to be a bit on the quiet side - just tend to get carried off by juggle the things we get thrown at us.
