I am a twenty-five year old female with Crohn's Disease and Endometriosis. I've been diagnosed with the Crohn's for eight years and had my first bowel resection last May. I felt great for quite awhile afterwards, but I am now experiencing pain from whar doctors can only pinpoint as adhesions from scar tissue. My primary care is strongly urging me to get surgery, but when I met with the surgeon last week he didn't want to touch me because of the risk. I am seeing another one in two weeks for a second opinion. Hopefully something can be done other than being drugged up on pain pills. In my spare time (and when the pain lets up) I enjoy kickboxing and soccer. I'm looking to join a yoga class where I go kickboxing. |

I also found new friends here and they have restore my faith in humanity. People everywhere come here to share same problems or solutions to problems we encounter in our lives. MDjunction is a wonderful site and has help not only myself but also my family and friends. I recommend this site to anyone who thinks they are alone dealing with an illness and also to those who have love ones who suffer from illnesses.
