Ok this might be a stupid question, I don't know. I have been having stabbing pains occasionally in my thighs over the last year. It's nothing constant, it's just a stabbing pain and then it's done. The last couple of days I've had the same stabbing pain but going up my rectum. Again it only lasts briefly but it takes my breathe away for a second. I don't know if this is anything related to crohn's or not, so I thought I'd ask if anyone ever had this and if so knows what causes it. Thanks for any insight you have.

For about the last 6 months I've had these pains off and on. They are in my right upper thigh or at my right lower stomach. Very intense and last about 2 minutes, enough to stop me. But they come and go very randomly and I have no idea what it could be. Maybe someone else knows! Maybe its that refferred pain. Sad

Well I'm not glad to hear you have these pains too but at least it gives merit to my complaint. lol. It's not my imagination after all.

I also get them sometimes. I have no idea what causes them either. Mine are mostly in my pelvic area. I even have them in my chest. I was thinking that it was my pancreas, but the dr checked it and did an EKG and found nothing. I know I'm not imagining it and neither are you.

I sometimes get these pains too but they are in my pelvic area also. Normally when I get this pain it stops me for about 5 minutes. I don't know if it's due to the Crohn's or not but it might be worth mentioning to the doctor.
