 I have a few questions I was wondering about Now us people with crohns and colitus and Ibs we always have to run to the bathroom and usually a lot fo us are always having to use public restrooms I know I am . My husband told me I could catch certian diseases off a toilet ??? I know I keep a hand sanatizer and a can of lysol in my purse but is that enough to protect yourself ??? What do u guys do to be more safer when it comes to the public restroom ?

question number two is Does anyone have that crohns card - from the cffa ? where it says I cant wait on it has anyone used them do they really work ?

 Have used every public restroom East of the Mississippi for the past 33 years and only caught the crabs once (oh no that was because of some one else) Now I just look for a nice patch of woods, but that is just a guy thing. No lines and no one to hear you except for the other bears, and they normally that one wiff and do not come back.

But for real have never had any problems. what is the crohns card ? have not heard of that one.

 You crack me up. I have never had an issue either. I do have the Crohn's card. You can get it when you become a member of ccfa.org

The card reads "The bearer of this card has a medical condition that requires him/her to use the bathroom facilities urgently. Thanks for your help and understanding" And it has the Crohns Colitis Foundation of America name on it.

I have not had to use it yet, since most places now have public restrooms.

 I haven't had a problem. I have a bathroom ritual. hahah.. I open the doors with a napkin/sleeve etc.. I completely cover the toilet with toilet paper if they don't have the seat covers (yes even if I have to go really bad), flush with my foot, open the door with t.p. and turn the water on and off with fresh towels, and open the door with one too! How's that for not getting anything! hahaha I know, I'm a freak.

 oh, I forgot to add... I use the same thing for soap dispenser if it isn't automatic.
