MDJunction to me

2steveb" In life we all have trials and tribulations to endure weather it be physical, mental or social. For me personally when i encountered MDJunction i was astounded. Since i joined MDJunction to me it has been a god send and a life saver. I have met and been able to converse freely with so many people in the same situation as myself, (that alone is a big help, to know your not alone) to be able to discuss and get good advice from a braud section of people. One of lifes hardest things is to discuss personal issues with friends/family and yet the mdj family is non judgmental and you will be made totally welcome to talk through any issue thats on your mind. There are forums for every known issue to mankind, to me MDJ.com has become my family extension, id be lost without these good people and the extremely good guide lines that group leaders help us all with to keep threads topical and friendly." Had a VA appoint with mental health today. After going over how I've been mentally with my depression, bipolar, anxiety, etc., I was told to voluntarily admit myself to an inpatient mental health facility. They even did the paper work for me and wanted me to go right after the appointment. I told them I will go in the morning. Real nervous about this, but is probably for the best. Hope the stress of this doesn't set off a CD flare! I will be in the crazy house for at least a week. Wish me luck!

Wow! Good luck!! I've noticed a lot of mood changes in my case too, but I think it's just me mad at life for a bit because of the whole idea of Crohn's... But i really hope you get better and it most certainly does not cause another flare-up!! That would just add so much more negativity to all this you are already going through.

I spent 8 days in a very boring enviroment. I increased my depakote, got rid of risperidale and paxil and added Abilify. So far so good. Still have some depression, but 90% better than before. Have better energy also.

When I got there, they didn't give me my pentasa for three days. The day before I left, my right guts started hurting. I had the runs 16 or 17 times. By 4pm my gut was hurting a lot and then I began to turn pink. by 10 pm the pain was worse and my pink color turned to lobester red with blood pressure of 158/113 and pulse of 130. I was taken to the emergency room. they gave me a shot of some type of steriod, gave me a pill, and the red went away and the pain subsided. I was back at the crazy house within an hour.

Yesterday, I pooo'd about 15 times again (thank goodness for flushable wipes). Rehydrating today and only a couple of poo's so far.

The meds help. The confirmed again my diagnosis of Bipolar Type II with a little bit of psycosis in there. Makes life interesting sometimes. The shrink said he was suprised of how high functioning I am with the BPII and psycosis. I guess that is good? LOL.
