MDJunction to me

Dit"I've been a grateful member here for over 4 yrs this place has changed my life of course for the better, coming to the groups has enabled me to no longer feel so alone. As a group leader for the Bipolar Support group I can relate to others and am expressing my experience strength and hope and this is very rewarding, I've also made many supportive friends here whom I talk to some daily. I used to have a lot of 'lows' since becoming member here at MdJunction I no longer have these lows." (Dit)

Yay! I've never had to use the backyard but my husband likes to camp. Before my flare got bad i did make myself a bathroom in the woods a couple times and i'm not an outdoorsy type girl! But when crohn's calls it calls... i dont care where you are!

If you dont laugh you'll drive yourself crazy! All of my friends and family are very familiar with my habbits and I am now comfortable with it. It took a long time. They know if I go to a back bedroom down the hall just to laugh and leave me alone... I'll be done soon and we're all in good humor to discuss how much better i feel when i come out. I'm very thankful for friends and family with these. For they are who have helped pull me through along with the Lord! I've come a long way in the last few weeks and i'm very proud of myself!

Been there, done that too. When I lived on my own & my apartment mgmt would notify us that water would be off for repairs/maintenance, I would do what I would if there was a hurricane approaching: fill up the bathtub. Then I had a ready supply to help with the repetitive flushing so necessary with Crohn's.

When we weren't notified (emergency break in the pipe), then I would use my gallon jugs of water kept on hand for drinking during hurricanes.

You can see that since I had a plan, it was a frequent occurrence. The apartment complex was 40 years old!

And the cats would hang over the side of the tub to lap at the water - when they had fresh, filtered H2O in their pristine water bowl! Cats!

23 years in Jacksonville FL & having the pre-hurricane prep as an annual event. That's only why I ever thought of it myself for days w/out water.
