MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

My doctor suggested I take the probiotic Allign. When I first bought it I was floored by the cost. I purchased it at Costco because it was the cheapest place I could find. I think it was like 46.99 for about enough for 6 or 7 weeks. It really worked wonders. But the cost was just EXPENSIVE. The last time I went to buy it at Costco I found that there was a generic called trunature probiotic. I talked with the pharmacist and he told me that they were exactly the same ingredient and amount of bacteria. I was leery to switch but I could buy close to a years worth for 5 dollars more than I was buying 6 or 7 weeks. So I switched.

After switching I noticed no difference. Since taking probiotics and it's been over a year, it has cut my accidents down to rarely. The urgency is not nearly as bad and the cramping is much better. I also take digestive advantage for intense bowel support and the one for lactose intolerance . I try to cover every base I can think of.

Using probiotics has really made a huge difference for me. Has anyone else experienced a significant change using probiotics?

I take PB8 acidophilis, because I thought Florastor and the other "fancy" probiotics were too expense. I agree when taken regularly, I feel less gut-sick (I don't know how else to describe it). Laughing PB8 is sold cheaper than all the ones you mentioned. . . hard to know what's good bc none of this stuff is FDA regulated, and some of it is so cheap you have to question if there's anything actually in it.
When everything sucks, be grateful its not worse.

I've been on a probiotic for three weeks. Although I've noticed a decrease in severely painful cramping (which fluctuates on its own anyway), I haven't seen a change in frequency of diarrhea or urge to go.
Just another patient trying to chase down some good health.

Hey starshine,

One of the main reasons for them potentially not working is that (I am going to assume) you are taking them in pill form.

Humans can only digest up to 60% of anything in pill form (meaning some humans can digest 2% and others up to 60%)

May I suggest trying to take them in a liquid form? Kambucha is amazing if your budget allows it!
