Awesome!!! I did see that on there. Hope you get it.

I talked to that Dr. Rubin I found on the website last night, we exchanged e-mail back and forth. I liked him and am going to go see him for second opinion or for him to take over my care.

Dim, I had a prescription for that stuff, but I asked my doc about my options, he said there are pills-PILLS!!! But he said they might cause cramping and nausea so I took the drink script. Well as the day drew near I knew I wasn't going to be able to stomach that awful tasting stuff.. (I never tasted it b-4, but doc said it was disgusting) so long story, sort of short... I called and had them call in the pills for me. They were a piece of cake! although there were 30 of them, and you had to take them with 8oz water every fifteen minutes, then you get a break and then do it again. They weren't bad.

Oh and don't you feel ripped off when you have to drink the freakin' gallon jug of GoLitely and all of your friends or co-workers are griping about the little bottle they have to do for a routine colonoscopy?

That is a pretty cool site. Any site with additional info is always helpful. I think ccfa.org is more technical if you are looking for specific info on drugs and the disease.

By the way welcome to board.

Holy hell, there are pills! That is awesome. I tried to get a hold of my doc yesterday to check in. I called at 9:00am and didn't get a response which is unlike my doc. I called back at 4 and found out the constantly grumpy receptionist in the office did not put the message in. I put a new message in because I don't think the Entocort is working. I feel like I am getting worse not better, but I didn't get a response. Which means I just deal until Mon. when the doc will either tell me to stick out for another wk and check in again or will switch meds. I don't know what is worse. It is trial and error definitely. They don't know what is going to work. And I do NOT want to go on Prednisone.

Grrr.. just learned a valuable lesson! don't use your back button while posting a reply! Lost my whole post!!!

Anyway...PILLS>>>> they are called "Osmoprep" peeps! Tell your doctors. My doc is willing to tell me all my options. Some docs just prescribe you what they know of, and others prescribe because they get a kick-back from the company. There are 30 of them and you take 4 every 15min with 8oz of water. I can def. handle that. Although I fell asleep and didnt' take the remaining 12! I didnt tell the Dr. I was clean by then, pretty clear. He didn't complain.

Thanks for the greeting Lar! I'm glad I found this site.

I do like that CCFA for information too.
