My Uncle had surgery to remove part of his intestines (due to Crohn's) and now he has scar tissue surrounding one of his arteries. If it continues to grow it will eventually pop the artery and he will bleed out. He was going to have surgery to remove the scar tissue, but was told that the chances he could die during surgery were very high. My questions are: Has anyone had anything similar to this happen?
