MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

handsome, what you are not realizing is that those foods that hurt your tummy are polysaccharides (multiple sugars). If you really want to find out if your symtoms can disappear you should try the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Go to www.pecanbread.com. This diets works for a lot of people. Me being one of them. It is absolutely a Godsend! I have been on remission since I started the diet. It's hard at first but them gets really easy.

Handsome try keeping a food diary or log of which foods bother you. Each of us differ in what bothers us. Or speak with your GI about the possibilty of seeing a nutritionist. And please do not believe any ad or someone who claims a diet that states a specific diet will cure crohns. Its not there and alot of these diets can be very detrimental to a crohns patient.

People cry not because they are weak..but because they have been strong for so long.....

I find smoothies to be a great way to start the days. I use some protein powder and mix in some spinach and fruit. Since it's all blended it's pretty easy for me to digest.
Diagnosed w/Crohn's in 2005. Meds: synthroid, allergy meds, B-12 (liquid), multi-vitamin, probiotics, and migraine meds prn, and xanax, and vicodin prn. No surgeries. Trying some alternative therapies to keep my CD in check.

Have tried: sulfasalazine, Asacol, entocort, imuran, humira, remicade (serious joint pain/fatigue stopped after 2 doses), 6MP, cimzia, pentasa
