Hello, I am new, just wondering if any of you have been on Cimzia and if so, if it worked for you or any side affects?

Yes I started Cimzia in January 09. Was in a severe flare and GI was trying to keep me from another surgery. It has worked for me but it did take over 6 months before I felt any relief. In the beginning I suffered with severe bone muscle joint pain, more fatigue, headaches which were severe and cold like symptoms for a few days after shots. Now I am feeling pretty darn good. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on the Cimzia. It was a rough road but one that I have been down many times. Take care and I hope it works for you. Smile

I just took my second start up dose of Cimzia this past Friday. So far I cannot tell a difference. Usually the day or so after I take it, I feel really rundown, like Libit stated almost like I had a cold or the flu. Good luck with it!!

I had my first Cimzia injection five days ago. So far so good. No side effects.
