I will be having a upper scope done tomorrow due to some issues I've been having with my Crohn's. I've been feeling really bloated and full lately so they want to see what's going on in my stomach. I've had this test done before, but its been a long time. I'm hoping everything goes ok tomorrow. I will let you guys know how it goes.

Ok, now to the part were I tell you what results I received at this point. As they did the scope everything was looking normal until they got to the Antrum portion of my stomach. At this point they discovered some Gastritis/Erosions/Erythema in this area. He also took biopsies while in there as well and i should know the results of those in a week.

He was telling me that its not really serious at this point, but he wants to take Prilosec to help clear it up.So, this gives me some understanding to why I can't eat much without getting discomfort and bloating. So hopefully this med will do the trick so i dont have to worry about the sores turning into ulcers or anything drastic. So, this is were I stand right now, so i am going to wait for the results of the biopsies to see what those show as well. I'll update you all as i know more. I posted a image of the stomach area that they found the sores in. Its in the antrum (bottom part) of the stomach. Thanks again for the support!

So, it's official that I have gastritis. Now I have to learn how to deal with this and crohns. Here's a explaination of what gastritis is from wikipedia.
