I have been having horrible right sided flank pain for the last few days. I thought it might be a kidney infection. I did a UA at work and this is not the case. It feels as if my side is going to explode. I do have a doctor that is coming in to work today so I plan on asking her if this is related to CD but I wanted to know if any of you had experienced this. Dizzy

I was always told the flank pain is due to the inflamation of the bowels. The pressure from the inflamation pushes on the other organs. at one poin, I wa diagnosed with hydronephrosis. The fluid was backing up into my kidneys. After a resection, I felt better. A little over a year later, I am experiencing it again, aling with pain in my left hip, elbow, and fingers every now and then. The CT is what showed the hydronephrosis with my kidney. Hope this helps. By the way, have you noticed cold weather affects you more than it ever did?

I had a CT scan done and they believe I had a ruptured cyst on my ovary and also my lymph nodes are swollen that are around my appendix. So here I am again with a diagnosis of addenitis. My lab work came back not showing an infection so I was given more antibiotics to take to get the inflammation out of my lymph nodes. They stated that the cyst was a functional cyst so there was realy nothing that they could do about it. The pain is down to manageable now so I guess that is good.Smile
