MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Hi I will start by saying I have not been diagnosed as of yet but this disease has been mentioned, My illness started wth about of phnemonia in Oct 2008 by April I was taken out of work due to COPD and extreme weighg loss and fatigue, I also began getting other symptoms neck pain severe and uns down left arm numbness in feet clumsiness joint pain or numbness in my hands, legs hurt muscle and joint Excruitating headaches that have not let up in probably about 10 months, Anxiety, extreme fatigue, insomnia, blurry vision, nausea stomache bloating, hernias, vitamin D deficient low IGM levels, weakness, poor ocas and concentration, had blood without stool alot recently was hospitalized and scheduled for a colonoscopy. I suppose I have plenty more symptoms but these are the woest anyone have any ideas these symptoms are not and have not been controlled for slmost a year. Do you believe this could be chron's disease?

So Sorry you have been in such chronic pain over the last year.

When you were in the hospital what were the results of the colonoscopy? Did they just order a test or was it a GI that was actually the Dr treating you while you were there? I'm wondering if the right specialist has really given you a thorough evaluation in order to correctly determine if you have Crohns or not?

At least to me, it really doesn't sound like Crohns. I have had the disease for over 34 years and I really haven't had symptoms like that. But I sure hope they get you figured out soon. Good luck!
