i would like to give everyone an update on my experience with cimzia, i have tried all the others ( remicaid, humera) and had reactions to them and got syrum sickness and produced anti bodies and was told that this wouldn't happen with cimzia, so i got my fist dose on monday and later that night i started getting really sick i felt like death, do i was thinking ok maybe this is a medicine like methotrexate or 6mp that you take it and feel like shit for a couple days after then you start to feel better, well that wasn't the case by the time tuesday morning rolled around i had a temp of 102.9 and had chills, throwing up diareah and bad pains in my stomach,so i called the doc and they said go to the er because i may have been exposed to tb which i no i wasn't, to make a long story short and 3 days in the hospital later i had a major reaction to the medicine, the er doc's didn't even no what it was (cimzia), they have nothing to counter it so if your have ever had a reaction to remicaid or humira or produced antibodys to them think twice about taking cimzia, my doctors didn't want to believe this new mirecal drug could do the same as the others did to me untill the test proved it

yes humira is but cimzia is NOT are not covered by medicare or medicaid, but cimzia has a trial that they will give you for free also they have a program named cimplicity that if you qualify it's like assistance for your medicine through them you have to really be below the poverty line to qualify for the assistance through them as a heads up if anyone applies.
