Hi All,

After being promted to post my story instead of just lurking... I'm here.

I'm 32 and been diagnosed after 6 months of gazillions of tests with Costo.

I'm in pain every day almost all day. I have 2 small children so it's impossible to just sit, rest and heal. I was given a prescription for Celebrex since I also have just recovered from stomach ulcers, I can't take traditional NSAID's. However, I haven't taken it yet as I'm scared of all I have read about it.

I still have a prescription for Protonix for my stomach and the rheumatologist suggested I do that first in the morning, then the Celebrex.

I was never a nervous or anxious person before all this but now I'm suffering from panic attacks all the time. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the pain of the Costo and an anxiety attack.

I'm kinda a mess right now so any help and support would be welcome right now.

Heather

Hi Heather. Well, I understand your fears about taking Celebrex. I have heart disease and horrible arthritis pain, costo pain, fibro pain, etc. And I decided that it is worth the risk to take my Mobic instead of being in pain all the time. It has really helped with the costo and the arthritis pain. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Debbie,

The doctors threw around that drug name too, Mobic, but I know nothing about it.

We just returned from a vacation that was so horrible for me that I will need a week just to recover, terrible pain every day, migraines and the like. I'm going to call my doctor to talk a little more about the Celebrex.
