Good morning,

I'm new to this group and need some advice. I'm heading to Peru next month. I have moderate COPD and am in my late 60's. Want to do this while I still can. I'd appreciate any shared experiences and advice.

Thanks

Hi there,

Only read your message now as I have been on holiday myself! One problem I found was flying inland from the coast. At sea-level there is lots more oxygen and if you go quickly to high altitude you can get short of breath. Good idea to ask airline for wheelchair as walking makes matters worse! Of course with mild COPD might not affect you, but I have this problem.

Assume you have returned from your holiday and hope you enjoyed it?

Regards,

Venus
