This morning at 11 oçlock I went to water aerobics! Think the lady was quite worried about an old duck who cannot breathe, as she really made sure I was okay Shocked Saw a certificate for doing a CPR course on the wall, bet she thought that might be needed today?

She put my portable O2 and emergency inhaler on a chair right next to the pool. Then she put small ankle weights on me, and her and her assistant just about carried me into the pool, one on either side holding my armW00t ! Assume the weights are to keep my feet on the bottom, so that I don't go head down and bum up!

It was just myself and one other elderly lady; the assistant stayed with me all the time to help and explain the exercises. Found most very easy, except jumping up and down in the water, which I didn't do for obvious reasons. Will start off slowly, but going to ask to be put in a more challenging group soon.

The most difficult exercise of all for me was taking off my wet swimsuit, drying myself and getting dressedWhistling !

You did better than I did, Goopy! It was raining this morning so I couldn't go for a walk. I like your idea for us all to get together and swim. Maybe we could all go to South Africa and join Venus! I've never been there so I would like to go. Where's Sue today? She must of overslept.

So Venus

Did you use the G2 while you were in the pool.

Hey Flo you'll be able to do water aerobics in your back yard pretty soon. Florida is getting a monsoon.

I live about 10mi from a lake(Canyon Lake, how original huh?)no chlorine. I live 1mi from the guadalupe river, no chlorine either.

Butteryone here's a list of NZ lakes with no chlorine List of lakes in New Zealand

Just watch out for those hobbits.

And Goopy you got about a kajillian lakes in Arkansas

I'm just awash with ideas

Hi cmore, No, I didn't use any oxygen whilst I was in the pool. Just kept it close by in case I needed it. Lately I use O2 about 16 hours out of 24, put it on about 4pm.

Must tell you that I was very disappointed- they did not have a diving board at all! Not even a low one, so no chance of trying a double summersault to show how fit I am!Silly

I love you all. You can be such fun and still there is that wonderful supportive part that makes me feel right at home.

I think it would be a blast just to try to get together and visit - coffee, English muffins and oxygen would be nice.

Love ya!

Gail
