Well I see everyone must be sleepen in today or just plain busy. I slept about 3 hours extra which is nice.

Well I finally broke down and forced myself to use the nystantin. I put it all on my tongue then slowly swish and swallow. I think my problem could have been not shaking the bottle. I should read directions more often huh?

Gonna rain on and off all day so gonna try to get some stuff dine around here. Gonna take a big garbage bag and just start filling it up. Every room is gonna get cleared out. OMG I hope I can really do it.

Well gonna make some eggs and sausage and hope it doesn't hurt to much when I eat it.

What's everyone up to today?

If you swish and spit it out does it help? I know what you mean about it feeling really nasty. Here it is hot, hot hot and dry! You sound pretty ambitious today! Good luck. sassym

No I have to swallow it because they think it has gone into the lung. I know for sure it's in my throat.

My brain is more ambitious than my body!!!!!

Hi Sue and everyone,

Sorry I have not been about lately, had my hands full with my Dad. He is refusing medical help still, however, he currently has caught a cold and is in a bad way, his medication is not really helping but still he will not let me call in the docs or even an ambulance.

I was unable to go into him after work yesterday as I had school meetings. and today he tells me he went to get some shopping yesterday and had a very bad turn in the shop with right sided chest pains and couldn't breath, he left the shop with only half of what he needed, came home and went to bed this was about 2pm and then woke at 4.30 Sat morning. He seems to have periods where he sleeps much of the day and much of the night, just falling asleep in his chair.

Both myself and his sister keep asking him to go to the docs but he refuses. He says he just does not want to know what is wrong, and that he thinks it is just wind. My reply was well maybe it is but is would be better to let the doc decide. I am sorry this is long but you are the only people who can understand this condition and how frightening it is. The trouble is my Dad does not seem to understand how frightened it makes me, even though I tell him, he just says well I have to go sometime and maybe you will find me gone one day. Anyway thank .you all for listening.

I hope you have all have a good day

Kay

Hi Kay. Good to see you but so sorry about your Dad.

I wish there was some thing I could think of that might motivate him to go in and see the Dr. but it sounds like his mind is made up. Men are stubborn sometimes. Is he eating good? Would he maybe go for a walk with you if you asked him? Sounds like he still gets out a little if he was at the market. Exercise is so crucial for this desease not to progress. He doesn't smoke anymore does he?

I'll be thinking of you and hope you will get some peace soon.

Sue

Hi Kay! Sorry to hear you're still having such a hard time trying to get your Dad to go in and see a Dr. I don't know what it is about some people and Drs. but I'm sure you've done everything you could to try to get him to see that he needs help. I hope something will turn him around and get him to see that he's only causing those closest to him alot of grief! It was good to see you posting again anyway. Good luck and may God bless!
