COPD Support Group

I am so worried about my friends husband that I can't get no sleep...they are doing a cell transplant tomorrow at 12..and I am going to surprise her and go to the hospital in chicago where he is...she is gonna be there by herself and I dont' want her to be there by herself so I am going up there..he had to get a big dose of chemo today and one tomorrow morning before he goes in for the transplant..she called me and told me that he was in so much pain but still telling jokes so that made me smile..he is so strong going thru all of this...just need all the prayers he can get ...to help him get thru this...thanks all love ya all!!!

Hi Kim, I will be praying with you for your friend. I didn't know that you were doing so well. I am happy about that, just be careful. Lots of rotten germs in those hospitals.

Marty is doing well ...he said i'm gonna be out in two weeks..but the doctors said you won't say that after monday...the doctor said that he will be able to have visiters till monday then he can't for awhile cuz the doc said that he will probally be feeling it on monday ....thanks for all the prayers....

yeah sue I felt pretty good this week ..starting to get a cold tho after putting in the air conditioning but I get one every year when I put it in...just starting early with the breathing treaments cuz I want to get over it as soon as I can can summer colds are the worst ....i'm already on predisone as will be on it for the rest of my life.So with that I can't tell sometimes if it helps or not cuz i am so immuned to it lol but anywho have a great one

hi kim, glad ur friend is goin good.. yea summer colds are the worst so be very careful, im just off preds 2 days and already feelin it which is not good, but what can u do, ill be on preds also for ever after tx but do u fine ur eyes are bothering u more, well i always had great vision, latly i cant see ,i need reading glasses so i bought the dollar ones, but i went to the eye dr anyway he said iam gettin glucoma asked if i was on steroids i said yess, he said thats why, all the breathin med and preds hurt vision.. i cant go blind. but get ur eyes checked and feel good ok xoxoxo
