Hi, my real name is Heidi but I am tryng out the name Winter Girl, since I love winter. I may not be the queen of constipation but I am in the running. Have been dealing with it since birth, literally. I have IBS, amongst a million other things.I find that Citrate of Magnesia works, but it keeps working when you don't want it too. I call it the boulder buster. I am up tonight due to pain, insomnia, and constipation. I took these bulk fruit and veg. pills with a lot of water which do help sometimes. If they don't work I am going to try apples and prunes for a day or two. I have tried all the medications but I personally dont do well with them, which doesn't say you wouldn't. MY stomach is sensitive so i vomit from all of them.Wink Well I am not sure this is how I am supposed to introduce myself so I will end for now. For all of you on the potty, with numb legs, or sciatica, I feel for you, really! Winter Girl.

Hi, palenesmom, please read my other posts this date on this forum, especially the part about celiac disease being misdiagnosed as IBS. Celiac DOES tend to switch from diarrhea to constipation as you get older. Also read what I've written about CREST scleroderma slowing the gut without necessarily having noticeable skin changes. I have CREST.
