Send a PM
Give a Hug
My husband has congenital mitral valve disease. He had open-heart surgery to repair a prolapsed mitral valve about 2 1/2 years ago. Thankfully, it was a huge success, and the surgeon was able to repair rather than replace. They feel this should last him many years, on the upside of 10, before he may have to face surgery again. It was an extremely tough thing to go through, although I know many others have faced much worse. I just am so very thankful that he is okay, but of course I do still worry about what the future holds. I thought I would join this group to offer support & (((hugs))) to others,.. having been there with my husband.
