I just wanted to share that my family attended a walk/tree planting ceremony at U of M hospital last weekend in honor of Infant loss month. We made buttons, necklaces, balloons in honor of Amaiya. It was very nice and the planting site was beautiful. We saw one of the nurses that took care of her. We also saw the Social Worker in charge of her care. It was very nice to see them again. Being back at the hospital brought back some painful memories. I'm going to make a couple of blankets for NICU and donate them in honor of our angel Amaiya. I will add the pictures soon.
