Why wear a ribbon?

"I wear this ribbon because of my 7 year battle with Self Injury" (ellierose)

MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me has been the helping friends of understanding that I have needed. I feel now as if someone else it the world understands the things that I am going through. I feel less alone and happier. Here I can let out all my emotions and get support from many people who have been in similar situations. It really has been a life saver for me!" (Amanda78)

Hi Mik,

it's taking a bit more time

i hope that we'll have about 10 more support groups by the end of the year.

first ones would be diabetes and anxiety, after that I'm sure yet.

do you have any idea? we want a few rare ones as well..

OK?

first they ignore you
then they laugh at you
then they fight you
then you win.

I've got a close friend that's been living with MS (multiple sclerosis). Unfortunately, it's not a rare disease, but nevertheless I think a support group for it is a good idea.

I've also met a fantastic, brave girl that's been struggling with MS (I've only known her online, never met her personally, but she's remarkable). She has a very rich online universe, and I could ask her to participate in the group (no promisses, though, until I talk to her). She can be found at http://www.delusionalangel.com.

Congratulations to everybody involved in this wonderful project.
