I recently joined, having been invited to do so. I am an Herbal Doctor (for humans) and consultant for Nutrition and Holistic Medicine for canines. Will visit the Holistic & Alternative Support Forums intermittently, as my time is extremely limited. I was reluctant to join due to time constraints, but read some faulty information on the herbal site, and since I abhor harm done innadvertently, decided to join.

I have studied in my field since 1965, and have taught Herbal Medicine in two colleges. My expertise is not in book learning, however. There are far far too many persons reading inaccurate material and parroting the same inaccurate information. Many of these self-styled experts have not had hands-on experience. And a goodly number of herbal books and courses are of like type ---------- remember - even if it is in a popular book, it is not necessarily true.

My philosophy is that even though we may have genetic predispositions to varied dis-ease, mind is the builder. We can create our own healing as we can create our own dis-ease.

All disease is caused by toxins - it is not only the mouth that can import toxins - it is any orifice. The ears (hearing dysfunctional "tapes" when young, for example), the eyes (taking in negative images), the skin (actual toxins), etc. etc. The mind can either cause or refuse dis-ease.

Integral to healing is nutrition. One can physically de-tox, temporaily healing almost any condition, but true healing has to include the deepest root causes - those in the mind. In my previous practice (no longer have an office) I have seen over 20 cases of "hopeless" deadly disease in complete longterm remission through nutrition alone.

Herbs are often more efficacious medicine than fractionate and artificial drugs. Often they create "miraculous" cures. And they often have much milder or no, "side" or other effects than chemical compounds. I have seen many a disease releived that was considered "incurable" by allopathic (standarized) medical means. But along with herbs and appropriate nutrition to cleanse the system of toxins, one must also remember one needs to cleanse the brain of that which caused the dis-ease in the first place. (Rules are made to be broken, however - and sometimes disease can be staved off with consistent therapies and not addressing the root cause. Althoug this is not suggested).

Each individual and condition is unique, and no one cure fits all.

Will help any and all as time and inclination permits.............
