I'm new here too, but basicly have the same issues,it is so hard for people to understand how sick you are when you look fine. I am having a heck of a time with work right now and am not sure what to do. I had nasty visual side effects from the lyrica so i didn't take it for long but have heard a lot of great things about it. Hope it works for you.

I was on Lyrica for a month and developed a severe cough so I had to come off from it. But I can truly say that it really helped me a lot. I am now on flexeril and amytryptoline. Good luck

Since I was on here last I have had to come off amytriptoline. That made my legs swell and again, I coughed all the time. So at the moment, I am only on flexeril. Some days the leg that I had the knee replacement on is really bad.....which the fibro has made worse. My surgeon couldn't understand why the knee was so painful from time to time until they diagnosed fibro. I felt the best onb Lyrica. Good luck!
