emotionalfeelings

I just wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Kathleen and I run a network of websites named, the http://emotionalfeelings.tripod.com/emotional_feelings/ index.html network of sites.

I began this journey five years ago. Starting with a Geocities site name anxiety understanding, I didn't know anything about my diagnosis of Post traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression & Night Eating Syndrome. I was miserable though, dissociating, living in hyper-vigilance, cowering in fear, spending over one year in my bedroom... binge eating in the night time... never sleeping for more than 2-3 hours at a time.

I have to say that I've been blessed in my recovery from all life dysfunctions and my personal growth journey. I believe strongly that this has happened through my theory that you can help yourself the most through helping others.

Thinking about others, and considering the realization that many people are feeling even worse than ourself; is personal growth in itself. Becoming aware of our needs, choices, environment, just so many things that seem so simple can make a world of difference to those suffering.

I've been sick enough to not realize that I needed to help myself, but in some days of partial sanity - the spark of needing to be well, physically and mentally has kept me going. My children have kept me going. Now I remain grateful for each and every day that I am able to wake up and learn something new.

I'm appreciative of my ability to recognize I'm feeling something, identify what I'm feeling and then process the emotions & feelings connected to my daily experiences. Learning when to let go of the emotions & feelings is yet another benefit of my daily self work.

I'd like to invite anyone and everyone to visit my network of sites! E-mail me and chat anytime and if I can be of help to anyone in need, please let me know!

Sincerely and happily,

Kathleen, emotionalfeelings
