MDJunction to me

"Glad I joined MDJ. Why? In one word PEOPLE. The folks at this site are some of the best people in the world. They have made my life better by being there for me. Thanks for making a place where support is available for me. You guys make this world a better place." (norma)

I am 15...go me right? Yea, sure. I am bipolar and co-dependent. My mom had both and I guess drew the lucky card out of my two brothers. My mom died on Nov. 9th of 2006. I have been super-mega- ober the top depressed even more than before since then. It seems like my BPD got worse after that.

Everyone has been freaked out about me. They think any second I get I'm going to kill myself (which I'm not. Hell is not somewhere I'm really up for going).

My dad is getting married in October of 2008. His fiancee is a great person. At first, I was mad at my dad because it was so early, but now I understand.

My older brother tried to commit suicde about 2 months ago. That hit me pretty hard. He has always been the one I look up to, and then that happens. But he's doing better now. He;s got a girlfriend, and he has almost become his normal self again.

I just kinda wanted to introduce myself...

I will post later....

Glad you are here and welcome. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. Major life changes are extra hard on those of us with mental health issues and you have several. How are you treating your depression?

Can you tell me how your mother died? Men do tend to need relationships sooner than later. I think co-dependency is part of their genetics personally!

I think you will find this web site very helpful so keep posting.

Dee

Wow, you are certainly brave for introducing yourself and your story to a bunch of people you don't know! I'm glad you've joined the mdJunction family. I spend most of my time here within the New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH) group, since that is my health issue, but everyone who is involved with the site all come for the same reason - support! I'm sure you'll fit in well I'm very sorry for your loss at an early age, and am glad that your brother is doing better now.

Again, welcome
