Campus life: Hell but I dont want to leave

Have you ever had the feeling of comfort when you are on campus. That even though you are living on one meal a day and that things sometimes don't go your way you just don't want to leave. I am in total fear of leaving campus. Even though I have no money go hungry most days have two sets of clothes I am happy. Is this normal?
